This house does not have a sea view, but you will fall asleep to the sound of the waves and wake up to the ocean breeze!
Casa do Porto Formoso is just a two-minute walk from Praia dos Moinhos. It is an area with few amenities, besides the beach and a restaurant, but it is the ideal location to explore the north coast of the island, and it is only about a 15-minute drive from Ribeira Grande, where you can find several restaurants, supermarkets and shops.
In less than 30 minutes you can drive to Furnas to enjoy the hot springs (perfect for cloudy days), or you can leave your car in the parking lot 500m from the house and choose from the various trails in the surrounding area, ending the day with a swim in the sea, right "next door".
Casa do Porto Formoso, a T3 type house, is a semi-detached house with two floors. The equipped kitchen, the bathroom (with shower) and the spacious living room, with direct access to the outdoor patio, are on the ground floor. On the first floor there is another bathroom (with a bathtub), two bedrooms with double beds and one bedroom with two single beds.
The pool table offers ideal entertainment after a day outdoors, hiking or at the beach, while preparing a barbecue on the outdoor patio. Although it does not have a garden or sea view, and being a partially covered patio, it has enough space to enjoy an outdoor meal even when it is raining.
On colder days, the closed fireplace provides the necessary comfort to make the stay pleasant, even if it is not summer.
