Casa dos Avós is one of the accommodation units of "Casas das Sete Cidades", located inside the Sete Cidades volcano, one of the "10 wonders of Portugal". These three accommodation units (Casa dos Pais, Casa dos Avós and Casa dos Netos) share a large garden, with barbecue and private parking.

The lagoon is just five minutes from the property, as well as some restaurants, cafes and a small bakery. It is the perfect place to "escape" the big cities and "live without haste", enjoying nature and the small pleasures of life in the countryside.

Although located in Ponta Delgada, the village of Sete Cidades is about 20 minutes from the city center, so we advise renting a car and shopping at the supermarket before heading to the house, because in the vicinity there is only a small minimarket with the most essential goods.

The location is ideal for those who enjoy nature, hiking, and other walking trails, but do not miss Praia dos Mosteiros and its natural pools, which are about a 15-minute drive away.

At any time, you can enjoy the garden, which, although shared with the other two accommodation units, has enough space to be used by all guests. You can use the barbecue and have meals outside, on the outdoor furniture on the porch, or even have a picnic on the lawn.

The Casa dos Avós (Grandparents House), a T2+1 type unit, is the larger, two-story unit adjacent to the Casa dos Netos (connected by the garden). The equipped kitchen, additional bathroom, and living room are located on the ground floor, with direct access to the garden. The first floor has a bedroom with a double bed, a bathroom (with bathtub), and a family room occupying two areas: one with a double bed and the other with two additional single beds. This room is perfect for children, featuring a reading area and a smart TV for entertainment.

This property is perfect on summer days, due to the possibility of carrying out outdoor activities nearby, or in winter, for those who appreciate the warmth of the fireplace and a comfortable and cozy accommodation to rest.
